SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:
As the Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of pricing strategies across multiple projects. This includes the accurate and timely creation of quotations based on customer requirements, managing pricing databases, and ensuring consistency and accuracy of pricing data for products and services. You will collaborate closely with various departments to support the pricing process and provide accurate, data-driven insights to stakeholders. Strong leadership in managing your own projects, excellent analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel are essential for success in this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Pricing Strategy and Database Management:
Manage the company's master pricing database and tracker for all SKUs, ensuring all pricing information is accurate and up to date.
Apply and maintain the correct pricing structure based on both customer and business needs, updating it regularly as required.
Oversee the entry and approval process of pricing and production information for Bright and customer systems.
RFQ Management and Sales Support:
Handle the receipt, processing, and response to RFQs (Request for Quote) based on customer specifications, ensuring all relevant information is included.
Work closely with account managers to ensure RFQs are completed accurately and aligned with customer requirements.
Communicate timely and accurate quote status to management and sales teams, ensuring full transparency.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Review and analyze pricing data, sales reports, and customer orders to identify trends and provide insights into pricing strategy adjustments.
Oversee the cleaning and validation of part numbers and data to ensure accuracy in pricing and production.
Maintain the quote log and track price updates and modifications as required.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:
Work with internal teams such as Account Management, Sales, Production, Engineering, and Quality Control to ensure pricing is accurate and that the necessary information is captured.
Coordinate the preparation of pricing quotes and ensure all necessary data is included for management review and approval.
Labor Standards and Time Studies:
Lead the performance of time studies to accurately establish labor standards for projects and pricing models.
Review, assess, and challenge established labor standards to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Occasionally evaluate production processes and lines to support accurate cost and pricing models.
Customer Communication and Issue Resolution:
Communicate with customers directly through calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely updates on pricing.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns in a professional and responsive manner.
Price Updates and Post-Quote Analysis:
Oversee the regular updating of pricing structures and adjustments based on changes in cost or customer requirements.
Process post-quote analysis to ensure the accuracy of pricing, including any ancillary charges, rework, or upcharge items.
Review and process change authorizations and price updates as needed.
General Responsibilities:
Prioritize tasks, manage projects, and ensure timely completion of all pricing-related activities.
Continuously assess and refine pricing processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
Manage sensitive customer and pricing data with confidentiality and integrity.

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but you will collaborate with multiple departments and teams to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of pricing strategies.

- POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-4 years equivalent work experience in pricing, finance, or analytics
- Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Marketing

- English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
