SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
- This position is responsible for leading the pre-weigh and receiving teams in all aspects of weighing chemicals for batch making process and receiving to support operations.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee all chemical weighing and kits to support batch making in compounding.
- Monitor and ensure accurate inventory of raw materials.
- Lead a team of highly skilled employees to utilize measuring equipment.
- Conduct regularly scheduled employee training encompassing GMP, SOP, Safety and Cross training to expand employee capabilities
- Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard free workplace
- Safely operates forklift or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products.
- Work cooperatively and productively with Department Heads and other Associates to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment utilizing 6S standards.

- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises Pre-Weigh & Receiving personnel, assigns tasks and duties in a daily basis
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally experience having to handle merchandise and work with sharp edged tools. Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment traveling through the warehouse, temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing an uneven walking surface. Doors near working areas are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes. Interior floors near entrances and exits may become slippery during wet weather conditions. The warehouse environment can be dusty. Noise level is low.

- POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, covering a two-shift operation and weekends as required to support the business.
TRAVEL
- No travel is expected for this position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. At least five years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in personal care manufacturing. Compounding experience is considered a plus.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE LANGUAGE SKILLS
- LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Bilingual a plus.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a pre-condition of employment.
