What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Weigher 2nd Shift 2:30p-11:00p position at Bright Innovation Labs?
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
- Responsible in weighing chemicals to be used for production orders in accordance with laboratory specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Read and understand batch orders to be processed and determine amount of chemicals required for each batch
- Understand the process of weighing chemicals, double bag chemicals being weighed in a proper container for tare weight
- Responsible in ensuring that all drums, bags or boxes are clean prior to use
- Follow all SOP's that apply
- Responsible for consistent observance of GMP, SOP and Safety Procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance/observance of proper handling and storage of materials needed for production
- Ensure that all OSHA, Safety Regulations, Labor Laws, and other governmental statutes are followed and obeyed
- Attend all Company training encompassing GMP, SOP, Safety and cross training to expand employee capabilities

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.
TRAVEL
- No travel is expected for this position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must have six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or training pre-weighing. Experience in a Cosmetic Manufacturing industry a plus.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a pre-condition of employment.
