Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Infant Milestones and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes infants to reach their expected age milestones as well as their social, emotional, and cognitive development ages 4 weeks through 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Facilitate daily activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and play.
- Maintain infant daily schedules such as: feeding, changing, naps, meals, etc.
- Collaborate with the Center Director to create a cohesive learning experience for your babies.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's daily progress and communicate regularly with families regarding their child’s development and daily activities through our parent engage app.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and conducive to learning at all times as required by Minimum Standards as well as TRS Standards.
Skills
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or childcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of Infant care practices and early childhood development principles.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning experience for infants to grow.
- Ability to work well with other teachers and staff members.
- Ability to provide infants with a healthy, safe and nurturing environment to promotes and stimulates.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise in the classroom setting.
