Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have either an associates degree or above in Early Childhood Education, or a related field, or a C.D.A. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of pre-K-aged children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children's natural curiosity and creativity.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, recognizing their unique strengths and needs.
- Monitor children's progress and development, implementing early intervention strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
