Bright Life Playschool is in search of a Part-Time experienced Substitute Preschool Teacher or Teacher's Aides to join our growing school family. This position will be a valuable part of our team and your support will allow our teachers to take some needed time off to take care of themselves. This candidate must be a true team player willing to pitch in wherever necessary. This person will need to be organized, flexible, reliable and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities :
Be able to substitute teach in any classroom ( ages 3 months- 5 years)
Assist with preparation, set up and clean up of various school activities
Help to create a fun and safe learning environment
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and co-teachers and administrative staff.
Provide excellent customer service to our families
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to :
Hear and speak to exchange information
See to perform assigned duties
Sit, run, or stand for extended periods of time
Kneel, bend at the waist, and reach overhead (above the shoulders and horizontally) to retrieve and store files and items
Lift objects : Ability to lift children and equipment up to 50 pounds
All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with a disability.
Mandatory Requirements :
Must have at least 6 post-secondary Early Childhood Education units completed and be willing to enroll in more.
Must have experience working in a licensed family child care home or licensed child care center.
Current health screening with TB test and proof of immunizations (upon hire)
Live scan fingerprint clearance / background check (upon hire)
Able to lift 30-50 pounds multiple times a day
Qualifications :
Good verbal communication skills
Organized and reliable
Ability to relate and communicate with children & families
Positive and patient demeanor
Must have initiative and be able to work independently
