What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Learning Lead Teacher position at Bright Light Academy?
Bright Light Academy is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our two-year olds' teaching team. Candidates MUST have two years of experience working with young children (preferably under the age of 4), be a team player, high energy & able to multi-task. Candidates must have at least an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Children & Families or other related field & qualify as a Group Supervisors with DHS to be considered. Bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities.
- Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment for toddlers.
- Monitor, engage & assist children during playtime, meals, personal hygiene & other daily routines.
- Provide individual and group support to children as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and progress.
- Complete observations & assessments as needed.
