Role Overview
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive wellness services, including weight loss support, IV nutrition therapy, and wellness coaching. The RN will administer intravenous vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to optimize health and wellness while supporting patients in achieving their overall wellness goals.
Part of this job is to lead a team of medical assistants and part time RN's to perform the protocols of the clinic. Must be experienced in a leadership role in the past.
Essential Functions
- Administer IVs and manage fluid therapy during intravenous treatments.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care as needed.
- Assess patient physical health, including vital signs, physical assessments, and mental status.
- Identify contraindications to intravenous therapy and wellness interventions.
- Provide weight loss counseling and wellness coaching tailored to individual needs.
- Document interactions, assessments, therapy services, and patient responses/reactions to treatments.
- Ensure infection prevention measures are followed during all procedures.
- Collaborate with patients to develop personalized wellness plans.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Credentialed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 2 years of vascular access or infusion experience required; strong venous access skills essential (including the ability to access peripheral veins).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), medical terminology, anatomy, and medical practice functions.
- Excellent intravenous catheter placement skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of weight loss strategies, nutrition principles, and wellness coaching techniques preferred.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, self-motivate, manage time effectively, and work independently while maintaining resilience and flexibility.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills essential for working in a clinic environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to hear average conversations clearly.
- Regularly required to type continuously throughout the day using hands for typing and mouse navigation.
- Vision capabilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment (20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses).
- Occasionally required to lift/move up to 40 pounds unassisted or 100 pounds assisted; must be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for extended periods of time.
### **Working Conditions**
- Eight (8) to ten (10) hour shifts Monday-Friday; occasional weekends may be required.
- General clinic environment with climate control and adequate lighting.

**Reasoning Ability:** Ability to deal with variables under limited standardization; establish credibility and make decisive judgments.
**Mathematics Ability:** Strong numeric capabilities; ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers and fractions.
**Language Ability:** Ability to read, analyze, interpret medical documents; communicate clearly with patients and colleagues in a professional manner.
