Responsibilities:-
- In this role, the Microsoft Azure/Dynamics 365 Implementation Workstream Lead will oversee the complete migration from on-premises to the cloud, aligning the process with organizational objectives and stringent security standards.
- This position involves managing a variety of infrastructure components, including Windows, VMware, Exchange, NetApp storage, and Dell servers/HP thin clients, while also ensuring the optimization of Palo Alto firewalls, routers, and VPNs to secure data integrity.
- The lead will work closely with internal teams to assess the current architecture, identify pain points, and design a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environment.
- Acting as the primary technical resource, this role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in key project milestones, providing status updates, documenting processes, and troubleshooting migration challenges. Following the migration, the lead will support ongoing operations to stabilize and further enhance the cloud-based infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Windows, VMware, Exchange, NetApp, Dell, HP thin clients, Palo Alto firewalls, and Azure/Dynamics 365 migrations, with added consideration given to experience in Vertican Collection Master CLS, Btrieve database management, and finance or legal document management.
- This role supports a 45-user network with 3 servers and 75 VMs, requiring a candidate well-versed in cloud security and compliance best practices to protect high volumes of sensitive data.
