Need Local as its 4 Days onsite per week in Englewood, CO
Responsibilities of the role/team: DevOps team - mainly focused on development and deployments. They own $20M in AWS assets supporting 25 teams across the organization. They facilitate access to the data, secure the data, and build applications to view the data (ex. new app takes data and builds visuals/dashboards real-time)
5 engineers on the team (4 FTE. 1 CE) this net new role
Projects they'll be working on: Moving all on-prem to AWS this year (100s of petabytes), moving towards Hive account model - data will go through a central account, want to become design agnostic - not rely so heavily on AWS

- Strong Python coding exp (open to Java but Python is highly preferred due to work in Spark/PySpark)
