Embedded Software Engineer

Client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team for an onsite contract position within the Des Moines, IA area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a program upgrade project, leveraging their expertise in embedded development and microcontroller / microprocessor technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and test embedded software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Implement and optimize code in C and Python for embedded systems.
  • Integrate and interface with various microcontrollers and microprocessors.
  • Conduct debugging and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Document software design and development processes.

Must-Have Requirements :

  • Proficiency in C and Python programming languages.
  • Extensive experience in embedded development.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with C# and .NET framework.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson platform.
  • Knowledge of CStreamer.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful embedded development projects.

    • Ability to work onsite in the Des Moines, IA area.
