Prophet 21 Help Desk Administrator

Duration: 6-Month Contract to Hire

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Prophet 21 Support Analyst to join clients team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Prophet 21 ERP users, delivering end-user training, and working on various projects to improve system utilization. Proficiency in SQL and development skills are a plus, as is a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Prophet 21 users, addressing system issues, resolving errors, and ensuring optimal functionality.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of the Prophet 21 system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on system-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Analyze user needs and develop solutions to improve workflows and system efficiencies.
• Create and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting, leveraging SQL to extract and analyze data from Prophet 21.
• Work with development teams or independently on customization and enhancements to the system.
• Provide recommendations to improve system adoption and utilization based on user feedback and system performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Prophet 21 ERP in a professional environment.
• Proven experience training users on system functionality and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve system issues effectively.
• self-starter, ability to think outside the box
• Familiarity with SQL for querying and reporting purposes, big plus.
• Knowledge of system customization and development is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Prophet 21 system configurations and integrations.
• Knowledge of scripting languages or development tools used with Prophet 21.
• Familiarity with business processes in distribution or manufacturing environments.
