Senior Developer, Enterprise Search (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior developer in Enterprise Search to enhance and optimize our search engine solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with the Coveo Search Platform or similar technologies like Solr or Elasticsearch and a strong background in AI / ML-driven relevancy tuning, recommendations, and personalization for B2B / B2C e-commerce platforms.

As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop and refine search functionalities, integrate AI-driven recommendation systems, and optimize search algorithms. You'll work on modernizing enterprise search solutions, integrating structured and unstructured data, and enhancing the user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop & Optimize Search Solutions : Design, build, and maintain search engine indexes using Coveo, Solr, or Elasticsearch for enhanced relevancy tuning and recommendations.
• AI / ML-Powered Search Enhancements : Implement machine learning models to optimize ranking, personalization, and recommendation systems.
• Data Integration & Query Optimization : Configure query pipelines, integrate SQL / data lakes, and manage structured / unstructured data for search performance.
• API Development & Integration : Build and maintain REST APIs for seamless search functionalities across platforms.
• Front-End Collaboration : Work with React, Angular, or Vue.js teams to integrate search solutions into modern web applications.
• Agile & Continuous Improvement : Participate in Agile development, contributing to product design, performance tuning, and monitoring.
