Bright Minds Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our devoted team. This role involves implementing a curriculum that encourages creativity, exploration, and learning through play while ensuring the well-being of each child.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote learning through play.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their needs are met in terms of care and education.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to behavior or development.
- Monitor and assist children when needed.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in the classroom by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
- Experience in Montessori teaching methods is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in toddler care, understanding the unique needs of young children.
- Proven ability to work with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Proficient in lesson planning that incorporates diverse learning styles.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among students.
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support for children needing extra help.
- Commitment to child welfare, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all students.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.06 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
