SUMMARY
The key function of support staff is to provide and maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for a patient-centered drug rehab center. The support staff works closely with clients and staff to ensure that the rooms are properly cleaned, set up and turned around in a timely manner, transportation, and dietary needs are met.
Support staff are prohibited from performing counseling duties without current registration or certification credentials in accordance with DHCS regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean patient rooms
- Emptying trash/recycling, cleaning restrooms, cleaning all rooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and other general cleaning duties as needed/assigned
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
s. Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide transportation as needed in company vehicles.
- Maintain kitchen area and prepare meals according to menu requirements.
- Monitor and document self-administration of medications by clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year working as a housekeeper in an addiction treatment center preferred.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of English language
- Current California drivers license
