Looking for responsible, caring people to provide care for young children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years - teaching and guiding them through the skills needed to reach appropriate developmental and personal milestones. Part-time employees will assist full-time teachers with daily lessons and activities where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
Duties
- Follow Bright Oak Preschool Academy policies and procedures
- Ensure a safe classroom environment
- See to the safety of the children during emergency situations
- Adhere to DSS guidelines which includes tracking students' transitions
- Ensure a healthy and clean classroom environment
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or higher
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening prior to start date
- Must be able to lift children up to 50 pounds 3 feet onto changing tables safely
- Must be able to see and hear sufficiently to monitor and maintain control over classrooms of children aged 6 weeks through 5 years old
