The Civil Engineering Designer must have the following qualifications:

The Civil Engineering Designer must have the following qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (Must be in Civil Engineering)
- 2 years of civil design experience (this can be from internships, co-op programs, or paid work experience)
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Heavy experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with other drainage and stormwater programs such as SDHM and Civil D is preferred
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Preparation of lot layouts, preliminary grading plans, and tentative parcel maps
- Preparation of grading and improvement plans under the supervision of Project Managers
- Assists Project Managers with grading design, road elevation design, and sewer and water layout
- High production drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Preparation of drainage studies and stormwater reports under the supervision of Project Managers
