You will be responsible for creating innovative, efficient, and scalable solutions that improve business processes and streamline operations to support our customer at Port Hueneme.
Responsibilities:
- Build custom canvas and model-driven Power Apps tailored to business requirements, ensuring functionality, user experience, and scalability.
- Design and implement Microsoft Power Automate workflows to streamline and automate manual tasks, improving overall efficiency.
- Connect and integrate data sources like SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL, Excel, and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow within Power Platform solutions.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training for custom applications and workflows to ensure optimal user adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and clients to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Conduct testing and validation of Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to ensure proper functionality and performance across different environments.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for solutions, including design documents, user guides, and troubleshooting resources.
- Stay updated on advancements in Power Apps, Power Automate, and the Microsoft ecosystem, recommending and implementing new features and improvements.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate (flow creation and management).
- Experience with Power BI and Power Virtual Agents is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, Azure, and other data connectors.
- Knowledge of Common Data Service (CDS) and Dataverse.
- Familiarity with other development tools such as PowerShell and scripting for automation.
- Ability to create user-friendly, responsive applications with a focus on UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.
