Your primary responsibility will be to create all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database and ensure excellent performance and reliability to front-end demands. The front-end components made by your coworkers would also need to be integrated into the program.
Thus having a basic grasp of front-end technologies is necessary. Moreover, you should know about Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Rest API, and Microservices.
