The Opportunity: BrightBee has an amazing pool of temporary workers who are dedicated to helping K-12 students and schools, which we call Bees. We love our Bees and spend a lot of time and energy making sure they are well supported as they take short-term work assignments at schools and local nonprofits. Our newest Operations Manager will be part of the BrightBee team that runs the day-to-day operations of worker placements. This role will focus primarily on providing customer support to school leaders and BrightBee independent contractors as well as optimizing our overall match rate.
Location: This role is fully remote, but you will be required to do site visits to our Charleston partner locations occasionally.
Some of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting daily scheduling, assignments, and logistics for our second shift (preferably from 11:00am - 7:00 ET)

Communicating with school administrators and Bees to troubleshoot any problems and ensure that their needs are being met.
- Developing and implementing engagement strategies for both site partners and Bees to maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Working with the BrightBee product and engineering team to support continuous improvement of the software platform schools and Bees use to match assignments.

Providing internal administrative and clerical support for the BrightBee team.

What You Bring To The Table:

Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in an administrative or office job is required, managing fast-paced and/or complex tasks. Some experience with customer support and scheduling is preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with teachers, students, and school staff.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another without missing a beat.
