Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team. As an BT, you will work one-on-one with clients, implementing ABA treatment plans developed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and supporting the progress of each client’s unique goals. This position is ideal for an BT who is enthusiastic about learning, passionate about helping others, and committed to high-quality care.
RBT Responsibilities:
- Deliver ABA therapy to clients in a variety of settings, including the client’s home, school, or community, as directed by the BCBA, following the BT guidelines and standards
- Implement individualized treatment plans with consistency and fidelity under BCBA supervision, ensuring all BT practices are adhered to
- Collect and record data accurately, documenting client progress and behavior changes according to BT protocols
- Work collaboratively with BCBAs and other team members, participating in regular supervision meetings and BT training sessions
- Provide compassionate support and clear guidance to clients and families, building rapport and promoting a positive therapy experience as an BT
- Follow company policies and ethical guidelines to maintain the highest standards of BT professional conduct
- Participate in ongoing BT training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB (or willingness to complete RBT certification within the first 90 days of employment if required by state law)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus
- Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to helping others as an BT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and their families
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement treatment plans accurately, and collect data as directed
- Physical ability to work with young children, including the ability to sit, stand, lift, and move as needed during therapy sessions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required to travel to client locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children, especially in an ABA or special education setting
- Bilingual abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data collection as an BT
- Interest in a long-term career in behavioral health, with aspirations to pursue further ABA certifications
