What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP Team Lead position at Brighter Days Housing?
The Team Lead will work under the direction of the House Manager and will perform the following duties:
- Complete monthly audits on all documentation to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Must have flexibility
- Provide staff training to ensure all staff are performing their duties according to their job description
- Provide a Person Centered Approach to all residents
- Ensure the overall health and safety of all residents in the home
- Monitor the staff schedule and ensure all shifts are covered, including working any open shifts when needed
- Ensure that the activities are scheduled, planned and implemented for the household and, posted for staff/Individual/family review.
- Provide oversight of all documentation to ensure accuracy of MARS, Progress Notes, Daily Logs, Incident Reports, etc
- Accompany staff and residents on community outings when needed
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Assist the House Manager with Transporting residents to doctor appointments, dental, psych appointments and other med appointments as needed
- Must be CPR and Medication Administration Certified
- Perform other Team Lead duties as required
