The Job
We are seeking a talented individual to help drive the success of youth in our communities. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Unit Director is responsible for providing professional supervision, scheduling, evaluation of performance and scheduling training for Resident Care Supervisors and Counselors/Child Care Staff. This position is also responsible for directing the sound implementation and coordination of a therapeutic environment. Brighter Path Montgomery services adolescent females, ages 12 - 18, with severe emotional and behavioral disorders and sexual disorders. The unit director may be asked to obtain Medication Assistance Certification (MAC), to include familiarization with the policies, procedures, and protocols pertaining to the Nurse Delegation Program, as disseminated by the Alabama Department of Health and Mental Health Retardation. The unit director may be asked to conduct medication assistance with residents, ensuring appropriate medications are available are available and are stored and secured properly.

Pay: $45,500.00 per year
