What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Program Instructor-Special needs position at Brighter Paths, LLC?
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Experience with Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities (special needs adults).
- Experienced working in a GROUP setting and providing instructional activities while being enthusiastic.
- Be creative and enjoy doing arts and crafts. Be energetic!
- Enjoy teaching adults with intellectual impairments.
- Experience with all types of individuals with a developmental disability, low, high, and behaviors.
- Computer illiterate and be able to type your progress notes in Therap documentation system.
- Able to LEADER in a group setting.
- Organizational skills.
- Time management skills.
- Able to multitask and give instructions at the same time.
- Able to provide assistance with grooming and toileting if needed.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Must have a GED or high school diploma. Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid, TB test, and Physical
- Dependable and Reliable staff ready to work with transportation.

Pay: $11.50 - $14.50 per hour
