Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Hiring Coordinator to manage and streamline the recruitment process for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The Hiring Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. This position plays a key role in building a qualified and compassionate team of RBTs to support clients with autism and other developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical and HR teams to determine staffing needs and hiring priorities for RBT positions
- Create and post job listings on various job boards, company website, and social media platforms
- Source qualified candidates using resume databases, referrals, job fairs, and targeted outreach
- Screen applicants through resume reviews and initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with clinical supervisors and leadership
- Maintain candidate tracking systems (ATS) and ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Assist in drafting offer letters and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Support onboarding processes including background checks, credential verification, and documentation gathering
- Maintain compliance with state and federal hiring regulations, including RBT certification and background requirements
- Provide a welcoming and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Track hiring metrics and assist in continuous improvement of recruitment strategies
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or coordination—healthcare or ABA field preferred
- Familiarity with RBT certification requirements and the BACB standards is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and online recruiting platforms
