What You’ll Do
As the Senior Manager of Equipment Engineering, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team (controls, mechanical, and electrical engineers) through every phase of equipment development—from vendor selection and installation to testing, maintenance, and upgrades. You’ll drive project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in support of Caelux’s fast-growing production needs.

- Compliance, safety, and performance optimization
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and mentor a high-performing engineering team
- Develop and implement standard workflows and job aids
- Oversee full equipment lifecycle: selection, FAT/SAT, integration, decommissioning
- Collaborate across engineering, process, and operations teams
- Lead roadmap initiatives to improve cost, throughput, and reliability
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety protocols
- Communicate progress clearly to technical and executive stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 6 years in manufacturing equipment engineering
- Proven experience leading equipment teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with industrial equipment installation and troubleshooting
Bonus Points For:
- Background in solar, optical, or semiconductor manufacturing
- CAD fluency (2D/3D)
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards (NFPA, OSHA, NEC)
- Controls/PLC knowledge (Modbus, EtherCAT, etc.)
- Experience with vacuum, laser, or precision printing equipment
