- Design precision mechanical components for complex sub-systems involving electromechanical, motion, and optical systems using SolidWorks.
- Generate drawings for parts and sub-assemblies.
- Involved in modeling and simulation of design components such as dynamic, kinematic, thermal, and structural.
- Build prototypes.
- Support production-level tasks (inspections, troubleshooting, testing).
- Source new contract manufacturers and negotiate existing contracts.
- Enhance test benches for testing components.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
- Involved in sheet metal creation and tooling to support production staff.
- Mentor junior engineers to help with technical growth and development.
