We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer who has strong electronics design and product development experience. In this role you will architect and design analog and digital electrical systems for our client attempting to capture a 6 billion market with innovative IoT technology.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for being the key technical contributor leading projects.
- Design from start to finish analog and digital circuits using schematic capture and simulation. Coordinates all engineering tasks, PCB board layout, EMC/EMI regulation compliance
- Develop and execute test methods for design validation. Simulate/design/build/test as necessary, participate and conduct design reviews, support prototype development and testing during initial verification, responsible for circuit Design/Verify/Test and pilot phases
- Lead development of requirements, identify technical solutions, evaluate, and present "trade off" options to best accommodate platforms and common engineering tools
- Collaborate with multiple teams to develop product architecture
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering specifications, and design requirements
Qualifications
- 7 years as an electrical design engineer / product developer based on education completed
- Experience with electrical safety standards, EMC and environmental compliance desired
- Experience with PCB design tool like Altium, OrCAD, or Pads
- Experience with analog design
- Project scope estimation
- Flexibility to lead design scope or complete assigned tasks depending upon assignment
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
