How you’ll contribute:
As an Actuarial Project Director, you’ll be responsible for the management of actuarial modeling projects pertaining to the Variable Annuity and Shield products, in both Prophet and Pathwise. This role collaborates with Valuation, Financial Projections, Hedging Analysis, and IT teams, as well as within the Actuarial Modeling team.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Manage delivery of Actuarial Modeling initiatives through end-to-end planning of requirement development, design, development, testing, and production cutover
Manage cross team coordination of Actuarial Modeling initiatives to maintain consistency between Prophet and Pathwise models
Serve as a liaison between Actuarial Modeling and our ITSO partners
Leverage project management tools such as Jira and GitLab
Work with the Leader of Annuity Modeling to plan and execute projects.
Maintain productive working relationships with all business and technology partners
Communicate with assigned resources to ensure on-time completion of planned tasks
Implement risk management standards into the program to ensure all risks are identified and properly mitigated
Demonstrate a high-level knowledge of the architecture, data, and system dependencies that allow effective risk identification, mitigation, and project management through the working team
We’re looking for people who have:
5 years project management experience
Prior experience managing complex Actuarial systems and Prophet experience preferred
Experience assessing and improving business processes, systems, and associated technologies
Excellent verbal and written communications, executive presentation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
Self-driven ability to understand, identify, resolve and recommend options to solve complex business issues
Experience with project management tools such as Jira or GitLab

Compensation – Base salary ranging from $ 140,000 - $160,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
