The company is currently seeking an AP Payments Specialist to process vendor payments timely and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.

General Duties and Responsibilities :
Process daily payments, including checks, credit cards, and ACH transactions
Document all wire entries, including saving support and booking entries into the GL
Manage voided checks, cleared checks, and stop payment activities
Regularly review stale checks and aged accounts payable
Manage payment holds and releases due to lien release issues
Review and manage corporate credit card expense tracking, GL coding, and booking of journal entries
Book payroll entries into GL
Process CDA cash reconciliations
Produce and process reports at management's request
Provide support to external auditors as needed
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiar with computerized accounts payable software
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience working in a professional office environment
One or more years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Exemplary record of attendance and punctuality
Able to readily adapt to a changing environment
Able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Customer service oriented
Highly detailed
Able to adhere to directions from management
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience using JDE
