After Brightline Florida completed the first passenger rail system connecting Miami and Orlando, Brightline West was formed to connect Las Vegas and Southern California through the nation’s first true high-speed, electric passenger rail system. Reaching speeds of more than 186 miles per hour, this 218-mile high-speed rail service will take passengers from Las Vegas to the Greater Los Angeles area twice as fast as the normal drive time.

SUMMARY
For Brightline West’s 2025 Summer Internship Program, we are looking for a Marketing and PR Intern to support our Public Affairs team in Las Vegas, NV. This individual will support senior team members with content creation, video media production, graphic design, social media, and employer branding.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in drafting and editing engaging content tailored to internal and external audiences.
- Manage and support content distribution across internal channels and external platforms.
- Collaborate with the Public Affairs team to brainstorm and develop creative social media strategies.
- Assist in preparing materials for team presentations, meetings, and internal communications.
- Provide ongoing administrative support, including organizing content calendars and campaign schedules.
- Formulating social media copy according to best practices for various platforms.
- Capturing and editing video content for marketing campaigns.
- Conducting outreach to current and prospective corporate partners.
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Ability to conduct research, gather data, prepare materials, and other similar functions.
- Business development support, including profiling, meeting prep, prospecting and follow up on leads.
- Help coordinate investor/partner engagement events and activities.
- Prepare written communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
- This is a paid internship, with work performed in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Students are responsible for all arrangements of housing and travel.
- Students are expected to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program and must be available to participate for the entirety of the Summer Internship Program, running June 2nd - August 1st.
- Students must be authorized to work in the United States.
