About The Job

What you will do
- Understand company goals and metrics and align with code objectives .
- Partner with product owners and UX on what’s feasible technically, participate in user requirements translation to technical specifications.
- Own product quality and work to quickly address production defects.
- Embed a DevOps mentality within the team.
- Challenge yourself and your team to stay current with the latest technology trends.
- Build innovative and performant features into our next generation software applications. Apply deep knowledge of computer science & programming principles into innovative solutions.
- Write clear maintainable full-stack code, working in a professional software engineering environment (source control, shortened release cycles, continuous integration and deployment, etc.).
- Build quality into product lifecycle from requirements->design->code->testing->delivery->support.
- Support our products, identify root causes of production incidents, partner in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, implement, document libraries and frameworks that allow us to effectively scale development on our applications across multiple projects.
- Stay current with learning current trends in technology and mentor and guide junior developers and interns.
- Demonstrate and imbibe data-driven analysis and pragmatic decision making aligned with business and technology needs. Follows up on immediate deliveries with long term solutions.
- Partner with senior engineers and architects across the engineering practice in an agile environment, with scrum implemented at scale globally.
- Welcome change and complexity. Learn quickly and adapt fast. We are looking for folks to lead the charge, not just keep up with it.
What you need
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or 3-5 years experience
- Data structures and algorithms, object oriented programming, databases, SQL, web programming, design patterns, SOLID principles
- 2 years of web development, JS frameworks, UI/UX technologies
- 2 years of REST services, SOA, micro-services
- 2 years of unit testing, mocking frameworks, automation frameworks
- 2 years experience in a mature CI/CD SDLC environment, implemented exception handling, logging, monitoring, performance measurement, operational metrics knowledge
- 2 years experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong communication , partnership, teamwork skills
- Open source contribution, repositories, personal projects
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Participation in communities of interest, meetups
- Certifications in technology, agile methodologies
- Prior experience in agile implemented at scale across multiple teams globally
- .NET Framework 4.7 and .NET Core
- ASP.NET MVC and Web API 2
- Entity Framework
- SQL Server 2016
- Visual Studio 2015/2017 (with ReSharper)
- VueJS and Bootstrap
- Xamarin Mobile framework
- Continuous Integration and Delivery via TeamCity and Octopus
- Test Automation using a combination of NUnit , Node.js and Protractor
- Hadoop, Scala, Kafka
