What are the responsibilities and job description for the VPK Teacher position at Brighton Academy?
We seek a full-time VPK teacher to join our team. The ideal candidates should have experience in toddler care, preschool education, and curriculum development. As a teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment to promote young children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
For the VPK teacher position, updated certifications and classes are required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement classroom skills that align with our mission and goals
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
-Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
-Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
-Maintain discipline by the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
-Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of student's progress and development
-Prepare required reports on students and activities
-Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents
-Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities and prepare the classroom for class activities
-Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
-Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignment
Qualifications:
CDA or higher (Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred)
