Reporting to the Quality Manager, the CMM Programmer will have the opportunity to work and learn other jobs within the Quality department in a healthy team environment. Key job duties are the following:
1. Conduct part payouts and capability studies to assure parts meet dimensional requirements.
2. In-hours Gauge validations per prescribed frequencies.
3. Evaluate CMM data for accuracy with communication to engineering and operations.
4.Prepare reports for internal and external customers (DataPage ) as required.
5. Write CMM programs of all complexities.
6. Maintain CMM & CMM software in good working order.
7. Assist in Gauge R & R studies.
8. Develop and Validate CMM check fixtures.
9. Develop easily understood, visually appealing inspection instructions that include well-written descriptions, 3D pictures, data tables, etc.
10.Build, review and update control plans, FMEAs and process flows as necessary
11.Ensure that all layout-related programs are identified
12. Maintains and troubleshoots Renishaw Equator Systems on the production floor.
13. Accomplish organizational and group goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
1. Prefer minimum three (3) years’ experience as a CMM programmer/operator
2. Extensive knowledge of Quality Systems
3. Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and Statistical Process Controls.
4. PC-DMIS and DataPage - Software Experience required.
5. CAD experience required Ability to program CMM without CAD Models- to blueprint
6. Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges required
7. Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and GD&T required
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range is commensurate with a candidate’s skills and experience, generally in the $28/hour-$32/hour range. We offer a very competitive and comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401K Plan. First or second shift schedules are available.
