We have collaborated with numerous partners in the automotive, railroad, construction, heavy equipment and military defense industries on many different machining needs over the span of our company's existence. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring quality in our products. Key job duties are the following:
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production management/supervision.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Complying with legal and company regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by learning and completing additional Quality department functions, as requested.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent training, college coursework is a plus.
- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing systems.
- Elevated level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
- Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, IATF 16949 Auditing, windows computer systems (Microsoft office products) and customer specific requirement monitoring.
- Must be able use basic handheld measuring tools.
- Basic math skills

- Blueprint reading.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range is commensurate with a candidate’s skills and experience, generally in the $20-$24 per hour range. We offer a very competitive and comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401K Plan.Salary : $20 - $24
