As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our store, delivering outstanding service to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the perfect paint and decorating solutions for their projects, whether they are homeowners, contractors, or DIY enthusiasts. You will greet customers with a friendly smile, listen attentively to their needs, and provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations based on their preferences and requirements.
Key responsibilities:
1. Customer Assistance: Engage with customers, both in-person and over the phone, to guide them through our vast selection of paints, finishes, and related products. Assist customers in color matching, product selection, and provide expert advice on application techniques.
2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product range, including paint brands, color options, finishes, and complementary accessories. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the paint and design industry to better assist our customers.
3. Mixing and Tinting: Operate our state-of-the-art paint mixing equipment to accurately create custom paint colors for customers. Ensure precise measurements and maintain inventory of colorants and supplies.
4. Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, including accurate pricing, invoicing, and payment handling. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery or pickup of products.
5. Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns, inquiries, or complaints promptly and professionally. Strive to find appropriate solutions to exceed customer expectations and maintain their satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Knowledge or interest in paint, color matching, and design trends.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately mix and tint paint.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize customer needs.
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail role is preferred.
