What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiactric Technician : Mental Health A (LTSR Program) position at Brighton Rehabilitation & Wellness Center?
The primary objective of the LTSR is to provide its residents / consumers with the individualized services required to maintain them safely and productively in a community-based setting. The goal of the program is to ensure that the residents / consumers have acquired, upon discharge, the necessary skills for independent living.
This position will care for program residents / consumers, following physician instructions and facility procedures. Monitor resident / consumer physical and emotional condition and report to medical and program administrative staff. Participate in treatment programs, help with personal hygiene, and supervise administration of oral medications.

These positions will support our core care team and ensure continuity of care throughout the day. Additionally, they will facilitate the psychoeducational groups required, ensuring program effectiveness. (Per regulations these staff provide psychoeducational groups) each unit is 15 minutes
Knowledge of human behavior; individual differences in ability, personality, and interest; learning and motivation; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
HS Diploma required. Driver's License required. At least 6 months previous experience in Mental Health field.
