Position Overview :
The Building Operations and Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and efficient operation of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment for assigned properties in Denver, CO 80218. Key duties include preventive and corrective maintenance, performing routine assessments, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and responding to tenant / management requests. The role also involves maintaining tenant relations and adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance in line with service contracts.
- Monitor and adjust mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, steam stations, valves, thermostats) to ensure a comfortable building environment.
- Inspect and repair various building systems, including doors, ceilings, handrails, and plumbing fixtures.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical rooms, generators, fire and sump pumps, and emergency exit systems.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, including fire, equipment failure, and customer concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and life safety inspections following NFPA and local guidelines.
- Document activities and report to supervisors, maintaining a detailed record of repairs and issues.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by adhering to company standards and responding to requests promptly.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and comply with all applicable building operation regulations and safety protocols.
