We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design, working with materials such as steel, aluminum, and composites.
Candidates will have experience in the design of steel or aluminum products.
Appropriate candidates will have experience in advanced structural analysis and the ability to develop, analyze, and evaluate detailed manufacturing and use documents, drawings, and/or specifications. Candidates should demonstrate creative thinking to resolve complex structural design problems. Additionally, candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills and have a collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
Job Requirements:
- Develop structural analysis, designs, and details for steel, aluminum, and composite trench shoring systems.
- Coordinate with other engineers and drafters.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience (over 5 years preferred).
- California PE/SE license is a MUST.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Experienced with SolidWorks software is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects ranging from small to large scale.
- Occasional travel required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering analysis.
- Experience in the preparation of structural and load support calculations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- California Professional engineering registration (P.E. license) REQUIRED.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), SolidWorks is a must, 3D preferred.
- Must have the ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments.
