We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and transport products throughout the facility. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move products to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking product movements and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while performing tasks.
- Assist in quality control processes by inspecting products for defects or damages.
Skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts with a valid forklift certification.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with tooling, CAM programming, blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), stamping press operations, quality control measures, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery, and packaging processes is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
