Job Description
The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will handle:
- Receiving, warehousing, distribution, raw materials, finished goods, and e-commerce warehouses, including assigning warehouse maintenance and upkeep tasks to team members
- Coordinating transportation and warehousing activities, selecting optimal shipping routes, and managing logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries
- Logistics and planning to meet production goals and metrics
- Sales orders and execution
- Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on operations
- Process improvements to streamline operations, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency
- Developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives, including cost reduction, inventory optimization, and delivery performance targets
- Maintaining inventory records according to movement and physical counts
- Utilizing ERP capabilities, verifying shipment details are accurate and up to date
- Overseeing inbound material flows to the production facility along with outbound finished goods to the mainland via ocean providers
- Participating in problem-solving sessions related to identifying improvement opportunities for material handling or shipping
- Communicating logistic issues related to truck shipping to the Leadership Team
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth and efficiencies
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Monitoring and managing warehouse and logistics budget
- Selecting carriers for transportation and negotiating rates and contracts with carriers
- Responding to and resolving complaints and problems from clients
- Collaborating with internal departments like sales, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment with supply chain strategies and customer needs
Requirements
Required skills and qualifications include:
- 5 years NetSuite or similar ERP System Experience (Sales Orders, Transfer Orders, Inventory Management, data analysis tools)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred; basic knowledge of MS Excel required
- 5 years minimum warehouse experience at supervisory level or above required
