Test Engineer
Our company is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Engineering team at our state-of-the-art facility in Deland, FL. The ideal candidate will develop and implement technical solutions that are innovative, thorough, and practical to a range of technical problems in a cross-functional environment.
The Test Engineer will design and optimize test and assembly processes for quality, capacity, cost, and safety. They will understand customer product specifications & system requirements and create related test requirements. The successful candidate will perform system verification and validation testing, data analysis and reporting, discrepancy reporting and corrective actions to ensure production readiness.
The Test Engineer will support manufacturing floor daily operations and drive continuous improvement of key production cells. They will optimize the production process, product design using a robust lean problem-solving methodology, with quantifiable impact to business metrics. Additionally, they will troubleshoot process/production problems and implement solutions, monitor sustainability of actions and report out results.
The ideal candidate will interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to troubleshoot and repair equipment. They will collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to develop component designs and repairs to meet 4Fronts and customer requirements for cost, performance, and quality.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electronics or other electronics related discipline or the equivalent combination of work experience (such as military training/trade school). They must also have 7 years of experience in an EMS/OEM manufacturing environment.
