Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team in Cypress, TX. This role involves supporting the clinical needs of our clients in various settings, including clinic, home, and community environments. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator focused on clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients on individualized ABA therapy programs, maintaining rapport and updating programming goals under the direction of a BCBA.
- Assessment and Program Development: Complete assessments, collect and analyze data, draft goals, develop interventions, and implement necessary changes.
- Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and training for therapists, ensuring high fidelity of services and conducting performance evaluations.
- Parent Training: Facilitate parent/caregiver training, conduct behavioral assessments, develop behavior protocols, and monitor client progress.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete progress reports, manage clinical documentation, and prepare insurance reports.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between BCBA, family, and other ABA Connect staff, responding to communications promptly.
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) credential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science or related field (e.g., Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis)
- Strong communication and planning skills
- Physical ability to work on the floor with children (sit, stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs.)
- Proficiency with computers and tablets
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a background check
