What will you be doing?
As the New Development Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate the opening of new schools across the U.S. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring all projects meet regulatory requirements and company standards. Responsibilities include:
- Researching and obtaining state licensing requirements for early childcare centers.
- Coordinating all aspects of new school openings, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Supervising and coordinating team members, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure workflow remains on track.
- Overseeing the installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) as well as signage to ensure all aspects are in place before opening.
- Ensuring compliance with state regulations and coordinating inspections with licensing authorities.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for external vendors, employees, and operations teams.
- Monitoring project progress, managing documentation, and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Performing quality control throughout the project to maintain company standards.
- Identifying potential project issues and developing solutions to ensure timely completion.
- Traveling to new development sites as required to oversee project execution and school setup.
- Providing post-project evaluation and recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in childcare center operations, project coordination, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and solve problems efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to lift and assemble heavy materials as needed.
- Willingness to travel regularly to new school locations.
