Brightpointe is looking to expand our team with a new Van Driver!
Required Qualifications
Certified Nurses Assistant preferred
Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required
A valid driver’s license
Clear driving record
Clear background
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Operating a vehicle that transports passengers to and from medical appointments or helps to move medical cargo across locations.
· Lifting patients in and out of bed, chairs, taxis and ambulances to move them to and from treatment areas and procedure rooms.
· Offering comfort and support to patients and their families.
· Transporting medical equipment, supplies and laboratory specimens to designated treatment, diagnostic and patient care areas.
· Communicating with nurses.

· Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
· Meets general health requirements according to facility policy, including medical and physical exams and checking immunity status to various infectious diseases.
· Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
· Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and perform other common physical movements as needed for the position.
· Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases and/or conditions which include AIDS, Coronavirus, Hepatitis B, and Tuberculosis.
· May be subject to hostile or emotional residents, family members, visitors or personnel.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise judgement.
· Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
