Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including collision damage and rust repair.
- Utilize power tools and equipment for cutting, welding, and fabricating parts as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Execute sheet metal work, including shaping and fitting panels to restore the vehicle's original structure.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer as required.
- Apply automotive paint using spray guns, ensuring a smooth finish that meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment specific to auto body work.
- Experience with welding techniques and soldering for metal repairs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with auto painting processes and materials is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
