Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Duties:
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities, games, and crafts for children from infant care to preschool age.
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment that promotes learning and exploration.
- Provide one-on-one and group care to children, including feeding, diapering, and administering first aid when necessary.
- Implement behavior management techniques to ensure a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and caregivers to provide a cohesive and comprehensive educational program.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with parents as necessary.
- Provide special education and accommodations for children with special needs.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents to ensure that their children are receiving the care and education they need.
Qualifications:
- Experience in early childhood education, childcare, or nannying.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and educational practices.
- Ability to provide special education and accommodations for children with special needs.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Current certification in first aid and CPR.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry children and equipment as needed.
- 30 College Credits with 6 Early Childhood Education with 1 year experience or 60 College Credits with 6 Early Childhood Education Credits.
