The Go-to-Market Leader will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for the company’s DERMS and energy AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on data center applications. This role will collaborate closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to tailor the value proposition for data center clients, help scale customer acquisition efforts, and lead product launches within this critical market segment.
- Develop and execute a targeted go-to-market strategy for DERMS and energy AI solutions, with a particular focus on data centers.
- Position the company as a leader in energy optimization and management for data centers, addressing their unique power, cooling, and efficiency challenges.
- Collaborate with data center operators, energy providers, and utilities to identify and seize new business opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales, customer success) to ensure alignment on market goals, messaging, and product launches.
- Oversee the launch of tailored solutions for data centers, ensuring smooth coordination between product development, marketing, and sales efforts.
- Drive customer acquisition by building relationships with data center managers, facility operators, and decision-makers in the energy space.
- Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory developments in the data center industry, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at data center industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and create new business opportunities.
- Create and manage sales enablement tools and training materials that help the sales team understand how to sell DERMS solutions specifically for data centers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 12 years of experience in go-to-market leadership, business development, or sales, ideally with a focus on energy, cleantech, AI solutions, or data center operations.
- Proven track record of driving market strategy and customer acquisition in the energy or technology sectors, particularly in the context of data centers and distributed energy resources (DERs).
- Deep understanding of the energy needs and challenges within data center operations, including power management, cooling, and sustainability.
- Strong knowledge of DERMS technologies, smart grid solutions, or energy optimization software, with experience in applying these technologies in data center environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful presentations to senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on tactical plans and drive results.
- Experience in leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
