Our client, a leading organization in the building systems and HVAC industry, is seeking a dynamic HVAC Program Director to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HVAC programs and training across a range of industries, including commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
The HVAC Program Director will be responsible for creating and managing technical training programs, ensuring the highest standards of application, installation, troubleshooting, and efficiency in HVAC operations. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and clients, to drive strategic HVAC initiatives, enhance technical capabilities, and improve overall service delivery.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of HVAC technical programs, including training on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of HVAC program management, including curriculum development, training schedules, and program evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices across all HVAC programs.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify and implement improvements in HVAC system performance and training effectiveness.
- Develop and manage relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them achieve their professional development goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8 years of experience in HVAC program management or a related technical leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing technical training programs.
- Proven track record in program management and successful project delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Industry certifications (e.g., NATE, ASHRAE) preferred.
