Job Description
As a Client Support Specialist at BrightSpring Health Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and respond to incoming calls from referral sources and potential clients. You will work closely with our Director of Clinical Management to identify client needs and determine the Company's ability to meet them.
Responsibilities
- Identify client needs and consult with Director of Clinical Management to determine the Company's ability to meet them.
- Complete all viable referrals by setting up and carrying out pre-screening assessments, completion of pre-screening reports, and preparation of case proposals and other related pre-admission paperwork.
- Oversee, direct, and supervise field staff assigned in assisting with pre-screening process.
- Access national/state/company account information, including account names and terms of contracts or other past payer agreements.
- Consult with third-party representatives regarding client benefit coverage, client financial responsibility, company service authorization, and specific reimbursement procedures.
- Present company services, interpret potential reimbursement options, and negotiate reimbursement levels with third-party payers.
- Contact referral sources to advise them of case acceptance and provide information on the clinical team responsible for client's case.
- Maintain relationships with standard referral sources and payer case managers.
- Monitor/track referral sources' satisfaction levels, track/report on conversion ratios, and provide summary reports to management at requested intervals.
- Implement/maintain operational processes to ensure compliance with Company policies, requirements, and regulatory mandates.
- Adhere to and participate in Companys mandatory HIPAA privacy program/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs.
- Participate in quarterly growth planning meetings/activities including discussions around staffing and recruitment needs.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
